All chemE GaTech UVA VaTech UDelaware Northwestern Cornell Air Force ROTC hssp type 1. Tuition/fees covered at any school. Please suggest where my kid will enjoy/learn gain most from the college experience. Thanks!
DH went to GATech as did his brother for engineering. DH loved his experience and made lifelong friends. A few of the positives: national reputation and that matters for recruiting not just after college but years down the road, Atlanta location if you enjoy urban environment (and he did), enough Rah Rah sports to satisfy and great school spirit. The school size feels big enough to be fun but not overwhelming. Next choice would be VA Tech if campus life/school spirit is important. VT has the cadet program and that's a pretty significant element of the school spirit since your DC is ROTC. Otherwise all great choices but I'd choose GT.
