I mean, how much do you think it should cost for a special prosecutor to try it federal case? Once the lawyer has been paid for services, you don't look at how they spend the money, it's no one's business how one spends their money.
Wade is not in trouble here. Willis is. She hired her lover, who has never tried a federal case, at a higher rate than seasoned attorneys get paid, then she get benefits when he takes her on vacations and buys her gifts with the money she authorized to pay him. That's called a kickback and it's illegal. So, whether or not the GA case tries itself, DA Willis may not end up being the one to present the case in court when the case finally makes it to the docket. She may have to resign or be removed from the case due to her potential federal felony here.
I hear Wade was billing hours in increments of 24 hours per day. oops.
On at least 4 separate occasions. Apparently, Wade is a such diligent worker, he doesn't eat, sleep, go to bathroom and works tirelessly and non-stop 24 hours a day on this matter. Must be really dedicated to the work.
Or, you know, associates and paralegals work on matters... Do you seriously believe the nonsense you post? Maybe you really think that there is only one person working on this?
I practiced law for 21 years in a relatively medium sized law office and I am familiar with legal billing process. When paralegals, law clerks or associates work on a case in addition to Wade, they will have a separate itemized amounts with corresponding rates since rates for paralegals, law clerks, Jr. Associates, Sr. Associates etc. are all different. In addition, my understanding is that Wade didn't take/remove the case from the DA's office to his office - DA's office brought Wade in to assist as the contracted Lead Attorney for the DA's office for this matter specifically (for his alleged expertise on RICO prosecutions) and that paralegals and other support staff were available to Wade for work on this case. We will see.
