I file this under the MJ category, it was passed up on the Varsity squad  in highschool and look he turned out.  Let's talk about all the other players that didn't make the cut.  Get real folks. [/quote]

Your point cuts both ways.  We can also talk about the players that made MJ's varsity squad.  Did any of them make it to the NBA?  So identifying the talent correctly is not easy.  A player that did not make the squad this year may eventually surpass those who did.   It does not always happen, but sometimes players prove those who evaluate their talent wrong (e.g., MJ Griezmann, etc).     [/quote]
