These are calls for mass political violence, against all Democrats. They openly call for the bombing of "Democrat" cities and for the jailing or killing of Democratic politicians. They are from some of the most influential voices in right-wing politics. Will anyone say anything? https://bsky.app/profile/whstancil.bsky.social/post/3lyjrmamlzs2p I would remind people that to date, there is zero information about the shooter, their affiliations or their motivations, and yet, the right has singularly decided it is time for open warfare on the left, the blue cities and blue states.
This is what maga lives for. All they want to do is kill “liberals” and people in blue states. Remember what ever maga does they are heroes.
I mean, this thread is about a conservative pundit who was just assassinated for visiting college campuses and respectfully engaging with people who had different opinions than him. I think your post missed the mark a bit.
No the reason for worry is real. Look at what the RWNJs are saying. This thread started about a horrible murder. It's evolving into the RWs equally horrible attempts to use this murder to stoke further violence against other innocent people. Wake up.
Can you give some examples of RwNJs threatening murder on this thread? All I’m reading is snarky comments from LWNJs who seem ready to start a civil war at any moment.
Go online. You can easily find what your brothers are saying. The vast majority of people have never heard of Charlie Kirk before today. Seriously he would only show up on your TikTok feed if you are far down the right wing rabbit hole. This is how the internet works. The “LWNJs” only exist in your mind. Maybe Trump should have banned TikTok after all?
Just bc you hadn’t heard of Charlie before today doesn’t mean the same of the “vast majority”. The man was all over the place. You saw the crowd from today. He’s been everywhere. A lot of people loved him and a lot of people hated him. Unfortunately the hate prevailed.
I really don't think the vast majority knows much of who this person is. Yes millions do. But many millions do not. I think most people are going to get a lot of their knowledge about who this person is from the coverage happening since he was shot.
I agree. A lot of people are not online enough to know who CK is. They have lives. 😂
And yet here you are at midnight posting. I am a fan of his and I’ve felt truly sick since I got the first alert on my phone about it. I can’t even sleep now bc I feel so sad and upset that we haven’t caught his murderer. This thread has provided a little bit of an outlet for me but it’s also been very depressing to read. I should have guessed the people I’ve been arguing with on this thread didn’t even know anything about him. Just that he was a conservative- which I guess is enough to condemn him and say things like “thoughts and prayers” or “karma” or “how ironic”. I’m done. Too many people here have lost their humanity.
This country lost its humanity the day a classroom full of first graders were killed and we did nothing. Nothing but excuses and hollow thoughts and prayers.
Agreed. It’s sad when anyone loses their life (especially in an act of wanton violence), but why should anyone give any more f^cks about his death than the 2A fanatics gave after Sandy Hook and the countless mass shootings that have plagued America before and since (i.e., none - absolutely zero f^cks)?
