Military is military. I don't understand people trying to put him down over this. Many veterans are not combat veterans. Are you going up to them and being like "well, you didn't actually FIGHT, so no thank you for your service for you!"?[/quote]

When  wormy politicians make their “military” and “Iraq war” experiences their identity they’re trying to confer what? Bravery, heroism and putting their life in danger. JD did none of those things. Same for mayor Pete and Ron DeSantis. These men are creepy strivers lusting for fame and political power. Neocons and neoliberals who seek to feed the war machine while they only risked a paper cut.
