Of all places why would we go to war with the wrongest country we could have possibly gone to war with? Russia is no Iraq, we tried to keep some semblance of peace and separation for decades for a reason.  We had never brought troops so close to their borders to be on the side of their opponent, or am I wrong? I am not pretending to know anything about world politics, but this is all very fishy to me.  I don't think any superpower wants nuclear warfare or anything similar,  there wll be no winners.  Maybe this is to collapse the world's economy, or justify it's looming collapse?  Could Putin be in on it and helping to usher this along by playing the convenient villain or is he just a useful idiot? I know I would prefer this explanation as it's multiplies our chances of at least not experiencing the real war or worse.  Never knew I would be finding comfort in conspiracy theories  :shock:  Plese tell me this is all happening to justify looming economic collapse and crazy inflation and will be over soon.... My generalized anxiety isn't handling this so well.[/quote]
