Mark’s new wife seems like a total pain. At least Kristen’s boyfriend is somewhat normal . I saw him at a play our kids were in, and he seems like a nice, supportive guy. Kristen is much more standoffish but she will psychobabble some excuse as to why she can’t talk to people.
I had a genuine friendship with Mark way back when he was a pastor at a megachurch (circa 2006ish?). I also was acquaintances with Kristen back then, and with Kristen's boyfriend a few years back. Chad is the real deal. Down to earth, funny, caring. Mark seemed pretty fake to me even back then (looking back, I think he was really trying to like being a church pastor), and extremely extroverted to the point of being almost flirty with some other women. The fact he seems to not care less about being by all accounts a deadbeat dad (and the fact that i get vibes from the new wife that she loves that about him) is really gross. And as someone who struggled with an eating disorder years ago... There is no way she doesn't have anorexia.
Mark and his new wife are total clout chasers. They both cheated on their previous spouses yet act like they’re models for divorce and co parenting. It is gross.
