Hmmm... I wonder why people would hate the Catholic Church - forcing women of other faiths or no faith to carry their pregnancy to term, influencing laws which make doctors scared to make the right decisions for their pregnant patients, pretending that women can't be priests, hating on gay and trans people even though many Catholic priests are closeted homosexuals. Hmmm... I wonder why!?!? And I'm a practicing Catholic fwiw.[/quote]

Bc there is nothing wrong with the teachings of Jesus Christ, not everyone in the Catholic Church is a right-wing nut job, I refuse to abandon my faith because of said nut jobs, I'm a cradle Catholic who doesn't feel comfortable anywhere else, and my hope springs eternal that things can get better.[/quote]
