Zero in my house. And if you’re paying for college, that stops until they stop using. No point paying for school if they’re frying their brain. I’m not universally anti-cannabis, but nobody should use regularly before age 25-28, and certainly not a college kid. And absolutely it should be stigmatized enough that they know it’s “wrong” and shouldn’t do it in your home.
You're an absolute idiot. I doubt you pay for college or even have kids of college age, but if you stopped paying for college abruptly, that would 1000% ruin their life much faster than pot would.
Its a little dramatic to say a parent not paying for college until DC gets their act together will "ruin their life." Kids are entitled to many things from their parents but not college tuition. Its a huge investment from parents and if the kids are not taking that investment seriously it needs to pause until they are able to take it seriously. People mature at different rates, taking a pause so they can grow up and take responsibility will not ruin their life.
+1 Kids take a pause or gap years all the time. With parental help, the kid can grow up, go to rehab or therapy etc and then go back to school when ready. No shame in any of that and a better ROI for all.
