The worst part is that this family most likely sees themselves as the victims in this situation. Probably anger and disbelief that their son is being sent to jail for just being a typical teenage boy with his whole life ahead of him.
BINGO!!!! These are my thoughts exactly! Usman mentioned during his sentencing statement that his sister who is attending Oakton HS has been bullied for his actions. I mean not that I condone bullying but these are consequences of his reckless actions! At least she is alive, the other 2 aren't! The surviving victim also attends Oakton so I can see it creating an uncomfortable situation for both. Things that Usman could have avoided!!!
Neither of these people are involved. They should be able to attend without bullying.
DP, yeah that’s the point, but they can’t because of his selfish and reckless actions.
No. Bullying is bullying. No one should be bullying her. She’s not her brother.
DP. First off, you completely misconstrued the point of the post that you're replying to: the two victims whose lives were needlessly stolen from them should be able to attend school without bullying, but it's impossible now because of his selfish and reckless actions. Secondly, it's unclear whether his sister is being bullied based on the same standard of "bullying" that's been thrown around by Shahid supporters in this forum...which would effectively mean that the amount of bullying she's seeing is negligible. Thirdly, it's disgusting and inappropriate how brazenly Shahid's supporters have been trying to hijack the sympathy owed to the victims of his crime ever since the incident.
I’m not his supporter. No one should be bullying the sister. We should all be able to agree to that, right?
Who even knows if it's true or not. He could have just said it to gain sympathy from the jurors... What other reason is there for even bringing that up? Those parents received a life sentence.. he could have used that time to apologize for killing their children rather than claiming bullying! 🙄
