I agree with this so much.  Aren’t vacations supposed to be either your family and dearest loved ones?  I’m Jens’s age and while I do love brief solo work/fun trips and can decompress from things from time to time the idea of a yearly month long solo MeCamp is deeply deeply weird.  Jen has five kids.  What are they going this month?  House sitting?  Making sure the plants don’t die?  Meanwhile mom is bringing leftover food to older couples in coastal Oregon?
