The NCAA new roster limit for women's lacrosse is 38. Let's use a newer school, South Florida, as an example. On their website for the 2024-2025 season they have 40 players listed. No seniors and 6 grad students. After this season, their returning roster would have 34 players. They have 9 student athletes listed as 2025 recruits. That would put their roster at 43 players. That is 5 players over the 38 roster limit for their sport. Coaches will have to make decisions on how to get down their numbers to meet the new roster limit.[/quote]
