6,407 Palestinians died from Jan 1, 2008 to Sept 30, 2023.

So your estimate is really low if you think only 65k have died since 1948. Estimates ranging from 41k-80k have  died  in the current war. Rumor is Israel and Hamas are underreporting the casualties for political reasons
