If ECNL really drove this for that reason, they had plenty of time to prepare. The imaginary 2 years weren’t even up (they’ve been playing for 18 months), and even if they were, ECNL would want to retain as much talent as possible, so would give more notice, rather than rush this right as GA and ECNL ID sessions were happening.

SYC will end up looking good in the rearview 2-3 years from now.

ECNL isn't bad but it's not setup for mid level clubs to do well.

SYC coaches are trying soooo hard.  SYC will have some wins at u13 and u14 just like they do at u9-12 but real coaching and tactics will come into play at the older age groups and they don’t have a coach right now that will improve that.

2-3 years from now the GA will fold into the ECNL-RL as the smart clubs realize that it will be the only viable option to get into the ECNL NL.[/quote]
