When do you guys think Blake and Ryan will divorce?
1 to 2 years after the lawsuit ends, regardless of the outcome.
When I think about Hollywood marriages and what I'm sure is the strain this lawsuit is causing, I agree with this. But as someone who has observed a marriage going through a more private-scale version of this kind of crisis, I actually think it's possible that the experience bonds them for life and they never split. The reason I think this is that they both seem to always have the knee-jerk reaction to defend one another even against accusations that are valid. When couples are like that, this kind of attack just kind of seals them to each other. Ryan sees any attack on Lively as an attack on him and vice versa. Everyone else becomes the enemy and it allows them to overlook one another's flaws. Especially with multiple small children who are also bonding them to each other and this idea that their family is under attack and they must unite to protect it... I actually think they could wind up with one of the few Hollywood marriages that go the distance because they'll have created a worldview of Us against Them that is hard to break.
It’s possible. But rumors are rampant they are for the most part living apart. Ryan’s career as a leading man has greatly benefited from being married to a pretty wife who is fine to let him shine and not be a big star but do her little side projects like hair and booze and show up on red carpets. But he’s pushing 50 and likely will spend the rest of his career producing and on his many businesses and not fronting movies. So as the years pass a divorce would hurt him a lot less. He also is ripe for a mid life crisis. He strikes me as deeply insecure. I could see him trading her in for a younger version once he hits 55 and again preserving his reputation because no one would care at that point. And banging out 2-3 more kids.
