I am surprised I quite like this gown. It is sleek and dare I say it, elegant. Although as usual she has on too much makeup and too much hair.

No no @14:40, we could not live in sweet romantic bliss for long.  She had to go and Ivanka all over an iconic dress and make it weird.

We can’t have nice things around here.

The cosplay level has taken a turn for the worse.  She seems to love this- the Grace Kelly made of honor dress, the Kate Middleton inauguration outfit, this carbon copy of an Audrey Hepburn dress.  Is this bold, confident, or just demented?

I think it reflects that she just doesn’t know who she is, she doesn’t feel comfortable in her own skin, much less her (lovely!) figure, and thus she can’t use a classic dress or outfit as a reference and change it to reflect her own style; she has to copy outright as closely as possible.  She doesn’t feel comfortable showing her own quirks or preferences, she can only buy pieces with mushy appliqués on them or sparkles because they’re expensive.[/quote]

I would bet money there is some history list of "25 greatest looks in formal wear" that she is working her way through. I would  love to find it and run bets on which one she'll copy next.[/quote]
