Just like people who choose to work (assuming it is a choice which it isn't for many) do so because they think it will be better. I think the best course of action is simply to not question other people's personal choices around parenting and work and also not to expect anyone to justify those choices. If you take a live and let live attitude the stress around this goes away. I honestly don't put much thought into how other people work out this issue in their own families except to hope that people find a situation that works for them. They are the one who has to live with it so they are the ones who need to like it. Not me. I have my own life to worry about.[/quote]
