Exactly this.  It's almost like a parody.  You can see what Jen is going to do from a mile away it's so calculated and predictable.  The Chris Rock and Will Smith thing happened and I just knew Big Sis Jen would virtue-curtsy to her new man as this was an event "among family".  She gave him "space" to opine about what everyone was opining about regardless of their race and made herself seen like some sort of hero.

Jen presents herself publicly as some sort of deeply loving and giving and so so wise soul mamma of all the things but it's all just a façade.  Deep deep down inside she's terrified that she's just another scheming, jealous, grasping, Z List celebrity fraud desperate to remain relevant.[/quote]
