His most recent claim for declaring a national emergency is that "prayer rugs" were found near the border.  I guarantee this will be a major talking point leading up to declaring an emergency.  He's going to do it today because he can't cave (to a normal person, compromise) without getting conservative pundits mad at him and he can't handle not jetting off to Florida on the weekends.  This allows him an out so he can get back to spending taxpayer dollars on his weekend trips.  He doesn't care that this will be held up in court.  He's just trying to save face and get out of this any way he can.  [/quote]

I don't think he cares if one was even found.  I actually thought it was made up like all his other made up claims.  I'm just saying that I think his new tactic is to say "prayer rugs" were found and that is a national security concern warranting declaring a national emergency.  I don't think there's any credibility to the argument, but when has that stopped him before.  [/quote]
