QP has done NOTHING on the field for VDA. For VDA girls, QP has empowered the right people to move the club forward. That includes hiring BP which wouldn’t have happened if a certain VDA coach didn’t intervene and keep BP from going to another DMV club when he left FCV.

VDA was a top 25 club before BP. It will be top 5 in a few years with BP steering the ship as long as ML and AS stay as involved as they are now.

When BP left FCV, he could’ve gone to any club in the area, but he chose to go to Vda and definitely doesn’t make the kind of money that he would make at other places further north. I think that says something.

The quote said he was the “brains.”  You reiterate this point.  Quan and his father focused on real youth development which is the foundation for any successful program.  They will be known as hall of famer type leaders in club soccer to future generations.  BP brings skills quan doesn’t have which is what a good leader does.  There is only limited growth an organization can achieve if they are not loyal to their existing players.[/quote]
