Every 80 year old person experiences cognitive decline to varying degrees. This is old news. We saw it with Biden, we're seeing it with Trump. If we're stupid enough to elect another 80 year old POTUS, we'll see this again.[/quote]

I don't doubt this at all but trust me when I say no 80+ year old human can be trusted with keeping up with the mental and physical demands of the POTUS position 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is just basic common sense that hundreds of millions of American voters apparently lack. Do better people.[/quote]

Agree with both posters 100% - my 86 year old Dad and I have had this conversation.  Me:  Damn Dad, your doing pretty well for your age, huh.  Much better than Trump.  Dad:  I might be, but I sure as hell wouldn't want that job.
