Go check to see how many tickets are on resale right now on seatgeek. Both SG and TM are profiting from the resales of what were supposed to be verified fan purchases. They're both culpable, but TM is particularly egregious and a monopoly that needs to be broken up. I don't understand why artists like Gaga and TS can't facilitate ticket sales themselves. I Is it because they're concerts are put on by Live Nation and they need their ticket sale and event promotion infrastructure to perform at these large venues? I mean don't they have enough resources to just do this independently? [/quote]
