To clarify about Wilson's $400k salary in Oakland: According to transparentcalifornia.com, Wilson received a compensation package worth $400K in 2015. The package included salary ($293,835.95), "other pay" ($9,600.00), and benefits ($96,660.61). Now, take home pay just shy of $300K is still a lot, but I just wanted to get the real numbers on here.

There is a more interesting conversation to be had about why his salary jumped a whopping 30% from 2014 to 2015 (search for "Antwan Wilson" in the transparentcalifornia.com database and you'll find two salary records).
