Total speculation here, but I think the story that kid from the kingdom (Will?) told Morgan about his father and others from the kingdom being killed by walkers is going to turn out that Negan killed them.  I think Negan killed them and Ezekial then made a deal with Negan to give them stuff as long as the saviors stayed away from the kingdom and then Ezekial went back and told everyone in the kingdom that those people were killed by walkers so they wouldn't be living in fear of Negan and the saviors.

I thought that at first, but why would Negan care what zeke wants?  How does it benefit negan?  Why wouldn't he want to go in and burn some kingdom mattresses, just cuz, and make sure zeke is telling them the truth about how much he has and what he could get for negan?[/quote]
