It's hard to lead a big group (like the entire US population) so don't expect everyone will agree with you but they sure should not disrespect you. You can disagree but do it respectfully.

It's like being a sore loser at a soccer game. You ever see those kids that whine and get upset when their team lose a game? Those kids. Don't be that type of person.
