IDK, I don't think HRC and her supporters should rest on their laurels.  [b]This was a gaffee by her.[/b]  I *strongly* dislike Trump, but I don't like HRC either, though I will vote for her because the alternative is just too damned scary.  I would not be so over confident about his chances of winning.  I think he has a chance of winning, and it's truly frightening.  I am scared for my kids' and their future.  His environmental policies alone will kill the earth.[/quote]

Yes, I did, and I also stated that the media and a lot of people won't focus on the rest of what she said.  Look at the headlines in the news.  They only quote "Clinton calls half of Trump supporters a basket of deplorables".   A lot people don't bother to read the entire article; they like soundbites. That's why Trump has been so successful. He puts everything in a soundbite, no matter how complicated an issue. He speaks at a 4th grade level, and a lot of Americans like that.

I just see a headline now that she regrets saying it.  I'm glad she retracted because it was stupid to say such a thing.  And let me just state how *strongly* I dislike Trump.  I don't much like HRC, but I want her to win, very badly, because I fear a Trump presidency. I don't want her to make any stupid mistakes.[/quote]
