It's reasonable to assume that she made some pretty convincing threats about what she'd do if he ended it. And her verifiable craziness lent some truth to Kent Easter's defense that he was intimidated by her. It doesn't excuse his participation, especially considering he's a lawyer who could have determined a way to divorce her. But who would feel safe from that woman unless she was locked up?
