Public transportation runs 24 hours.  The only thing I would warn - and this would go for the U.S. as well - is to be aware of your surroundings and don't put yourself in a situation where you might be taken advantage of, i.e. keep your wits about you.  No downing shots to the wee hours with the other students in the Pavillions.
