Pre-kids - Four Seasons Sydney (honeymoon) Traveling with kids - JW Marriott Cancun (but that wasn't that nice - we usually stay in Residence Inns with our kids) Post kids without kids - Four Seasons Baltimore (with girlfriends)
Wow, that's where I'm staying next month. I'd appreciate your thoughts about it.
I am the PP who stayed there. The hotel is fine. Lobby and common areas are nice and the views are great. The hotel itself is a little worn - the carpet, the beach chairs, etc. It just needs a facelift. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious - especially the suites. We did not eat in many of the restaurants there - got lunch from the pool restaurant a lot. The waiters poolside were friendly. The pool is decent, but gets crowded. At least when we went, I had to go out each morning around 6:30 am to get chairs in a good location. This was at Christmas so it was extra crowded. The beach was clean, but we did not go in the water too much because the current was very strong when we were there. All in all, the hotel is fine. But when writing about the "best" hotel you have ever stayed at, it is certainly not as nice as more upscale resorts like the Four Seasons.
Thanks so much!
