The huge difference is that Harvard is a PRIVATE educational institution explicitly found by wealthy white men as a finishing school for their wealthy white sons.  Breakthrough is a charter network using PUBLIC funds to educate DC's white children.  Check your privilege. Not a union hack/troll, just have a refined nose to sniff out BS.[/quote]

Check you racist conspiracy theories. God this is so tired.  Guess what, white parents want their white kids educated too.  And white kids are the fastest growing demographic in the City.  White parents would like solid, drama free schools.  So would AA.  its not about race.  Its more about class.  But I know a LOT of upper income AA and every single one of them either moved to the burbs out of DC for school or they lottery into a better school than their IB. they don't want the BS either.
