Re: PWSI, any information on how competitive you expect tryouts to be at u9 and u10 level?
I would say no different from other top clubs. With the age shake I suspect there will be more slots to fill at those age levels. Also assume the kids in their current academy have a leg up of sorts. On a side note we attended the SCAA tryouts. There was about 8 kids trying out for u9. 10 for u10 and 6 for U11. I am sure most kids will make it. Will you see this as an opportunity to get more 1:1 training and more playing time? Or do you think the Club is too young?
Club will have a tough time recovering from their deal with the devil. Those numbers won't support a team in each of those age groups, even if they do all make it and play for SCAA. You could benefit by the coach:player ratio, but how is the coach for that age group?
I guess another unknown. Fabian Vega was announced as the new commissioner and will also be the boys coach. Seems to have experience but have never seen him do any coaching. Perhaps someone else has? http://www.scaasoccer.net/Default.aspx?tabid=567998&mid=591515&newskeyid=HN1&newsid=97171&ctl=newsdetail
