I worked in a MCPS elementary school in the 90s/2000s and I remember there was a family who used the mom's work address to get the kid in the school. It was convenient to work and a "better" elementary compared to the MCPS school closest to her house. The teacher caught wind of this and told the office. Someone from some central MCPS followed the mother to her office and to her home and the kid was OUT of that school THE NEXT DAY. And the family lived in MoCo. Imagine what MoCo would do to someone who lives in DC.[/quote]
