In the US, it is many, many generations. Sonja's ex is old money; Sonja not so much. Jules is also not a WASP, which makes her not a candidate for old money status. [/quote]

I just read in a magazine today while getting my hair cut that he made money in some porn investment company and that he has liens against him for not paying taxes.  I'm too lazy to find a link though. I thought it was funny in one episode that she didn't know how to make coffee. The maid must do it.[/quote]
