Parklawn is at the other end of Lincolnia Road and Belvedere is almost in Annandale.
ParkLawn is less than a mile
Not according to google maps it's not. Distances must seem closer to you when you are afraid.
Actually google maps said it is.try again
Sorry but even if you measure from the very tip of the property, which is blocked by a large black fence, the distance to 4710 North Chambliss Street, Alexandria is 1.0 miles. The distance to an actual entrance is even farther. It's a straight shot down Lincolnia, so there is really nothing to dispute.
There will be no large fence around the shelter, the proposed site to the school property is less than a mile. And half a mile to a day care and Catholic school where little kids are outside playing. This is undisputed fact
And the church and Catholic school are on the same grounds. The only major fact here is you have no clue whatsoever of what you're talking about OK give me the exact longitude and latitude of the points you are measuring, and the distance. I have measured it three times. The property I was referring to was the school, which actually has a big black fence at that tip. Fact. And since I am a Catholic, I have no problem saying that we have an obligation to the poor and I am unafraid of my children being within a half mile of them. In fact my children are less than a half mile from homeless people all the time.
It's obvious you're ignorant if the area, there is no big black fence, kids climb over it all the time, it's about three-four feet high. Just a quick drive by shows that.

Not at the corner. You are talking about along the side. The exact route: 1 mile https://www.google.com/maps/dir/38.8320638,-77.1522884/38.8214749,-77.144195/@38.8241381,-77.1463887,17z/data=!4m9!4m8!1m5!3m4!1m2!1d-77.1442008!2d38.8214493!3s0x89b7b3a94469ba81:0xf2a46034b409994e!1m0!3e0
There is no large black fence. Route is shorter than a mile as they don't need to cut across Chambliss to get to Lincolnia. Catholic day care and elementary school 1/2 mile and daycare academy less than a mile. Development of residential homes in the 1-2 million range and across Lincolnia houses from 600-700s. So all soft targets for criminals. Those are the facts
As is the fact that Moncure is now right across Columbia Pike from even more expensive homes than anything near Landmark.
