I'm saying that policy should be changed to disallow that type of arrangement in a charter.[/quote] Yes, but then you are saying that no public schools should offer very specialized curricula or language immersion so that these schools can be the same ol', same ol' type of school which caters to everyone. The only effective way to offer very specialized education is to have certain grades for admission so as to get all students up to speed. This negates the purpose of charters which is to offer innovative education. Every child is unique and expecting them all to be in lockstep in only one type of public schools seems backwards to me.[/quote]
