Anyway, I guess the point I am trying to make is that being single wasn't half as bad as I thought it was and I catch myself longing for it DESPITE being lucky enough to actually really love my husband, who is a great person.

So, now when I look at single 40 year old women how I view them depends on how they are feeling about their own life.

If they are thriving, I feel happy for them and also jealous.

If they are sad, I feel bad for them.

So, same exact way I feel about 40 year old married women with kids.
