I can't believe people are this riled up over leotards and bare legs. I didn't know my great-auntie posted here.
I'm not riled up about leotards and bare legs (although my 7 year old did ask where her pants were). But I just think Beyonce needs to wear something different/do something different for a change. It is always a leotard and bare legs, and it's always the same act.
It's her signature style and she's entitled to it. And she's almost a billionaire. And she has a great body. Pretty sure she can do what she wants.
Pretty sure that motif these posters are jealous and insecure.
WTH? Anytime you have an opinion that may not be complimentary to a celebrity automatically means you're jealous and insecure? What BS! I'm sure you've never made a negative comment about someone famous, pp, right? And I said B is talented but her routine is tired. That's all. Just wish she would change it up a bit. If they ask her back a year from now, pretty sure she'll be in a leotard with bare legs and flinging her hair around while a bunch of ladies dance behind her. Just a prediction.
I don't get this idea that a performer has to constantly reinvent themselves. I say stick with what works and do it well. Beyonce does. Having to constantly reinvent yourself sounds exhausting and can get to be desperate looking (I'm looking at you, Madonna).
Are you kidding? Madonna is the queen of reinvention! And no, a performer doesn't constantly need to be reinventing themselves, but maybe once every 10 years, change it up a LITTLE. Her routine is the same as Crazy in Love in 2003. Exact same. I think people expect successful artists to change it up because they are admired for creativity, hence not the same performance over and over again.
Madonna sucks. Always has. I'm not interested in a thousand physical transformations. Just music that I like.
+1 Madonna was great when she first came on the music scene. But her schtick has gotten old. She makes people wait for her shows past two hours, if she is running late. As if she didn't know she had a show to put on? And people pay how much? Are you kidding me? No thanks. Beyonce needs to change something to remain relevant, because no one cares what she has to sing. For one, transform with your years. Not everyone is frozen in time - Beyonce included. They to behave accordingly. Whether or not the jumpsuit is "her thing" - she looks silly, chunky and dated. Whatever your standards. Surely she can finds something (anything) else that flatters her far better than that outfit - especially with "all that money". I hope Gaga keeps up her voice, and her talents, and her relevance. She sounds great. And she truly doesn't care what anyone thinks - so can reinvent herself again and again, and it will work. For other people, not so much. An artist reinventing themselves doesn't work for everyone (Madonna). It works for very few people - based on timing, the market, the presentation, the talent involved (or not). An artist NOT even trying, or trying too hard doesn't work for everyone (Beyonce). Why does Beyonce look so intense? Like she has to poop? Ia she constipated? Sometimes, she just looks silly. She needs a new approach. The "look at me" thing only works so much. "Look at me! I'm staring into the camera!". Wow, thrilling. There are artists. There are performers. There are entertainers. Not always one in the same.
