That comes back to the coffee/alcohol issue, too...no one "needs" special kitchen equipment/multiples. They need to adjust and make do in someone else's home. It is not the host's duty to re-create your home experience for you (though thoughtful gestures are appreciated); it's for the guest to adapt to the environment of the home they are visiting.
