I'm so glad you brought up the concept of protected classes. Who determines them? Certainly, illegal immigrants are a protected class - not only do they get benefits, they don't get deported after committing crimes. Federal laws be damned! Who has to follow those?And our veterans? Not so much - see the VA Hospital crisis.

Sex offenders are certainly a protected class. Even at the expense of children. How else does the Montgomery County Public School Systems defend keep a known sex offender on its teacher roll, sacrificing many children, including a five year old girl in the process? Who determines protected classes?  Well my Legal Beagle, I'll let you in on a secret.  Once a year a committee convenes.  Oprah chairs it, and the other voting members are the current head of OWS, Rosie O'Donnell, that New Black Panther with a billy club, the Indian from the Village People, an Angry Black Woman with an Obamaphone and Sandra Fluke.  We were halfway through our 2015 selection process.  About to establish a pathway to citizenship for Rescue Pitbulls.  We were debating how to calculate the Social Security retirement age in dog years, when... Hold the Presses!  Cait Jenner made her debut!  Billy Jean King graciously tabled the Pitbull resolution in the interest of the Greater Good.

And that is why if you ever call Cait Jenner a "he", you legally have to pay her ten thousand dollars.  Each time.  Job well done, Team!  Can't wait to see what wins in 2016.
