Hello, I'm 33. I recently got hit with the stomach flu Thursday, (Jan. 14 2010) late night into midnight. Had severe bouts of diarrhea and nausea without any vomiting. Basically all the stomach flu symptoms without the vomiting. I started feeling better Monday and on Tuesday was able to resume my regular activities of exercise, work etc...(Note: I was still getting a bit of nausea here and there). Come Thursday (Jan. 21, 2010) morning about 5:30am I broke out into hives around my rear area, thighs, feet and arms. I thought maybe it was a reaction to something I ate, but I didn't really eat anything different from what I normaly eat. By the time I got to work they eventually went away. Then this morning (FRI, Jan 22, 2010) at the same time, 5:30am it started all over again, but even worse. I went to the store and bought some benadryl and it went away by the time I got to work. I have seasonal allergies but have never experienced hives in my life before. I don't have any food allergies whatsoever. Could it be possible I had the H1N1 virus? Note: I did not get the H1N1 vaccine. I'm wondering if it is virus related? Anyone else gotten these hives due to a virus and not a vaccine. Also, my wife and both kids have gotten the H1N1 vaccine and didn't have any hives aftwards. any info will help.
