Allow every $ to be tax deductible as a business expense, for example. Or allow it to be a tax credit capped at an amount that would actually help ($20K)? I think subsidized child care or government child care is a bridge too far but the fact that we don't treat child care as a necessary expense for parents to work is out of touch with modern reality.
