I am surprised someone said I sound angry. I definitely am not. I have more friends and social activities than I know what to do with so clearly others do not find me angry or socially awkward. I think some of the negative comments are coming from insecure AA women. For some reason, people like me bother you. That said, I feel sorry for you too and encourage you to find peace in 2015. As to where my Dad is from, in all of my schooling and work life, I have only met one other person from this country.
Interesting, OP. Based on the responses I've read, I am not picking up on any insecurities from people (it is not clear to me that they are all AA women, or a woman, at all). I was able to follow OP's train-of-thought to a certain point, but the more she responded, the more confused she seemed. Perhaps some counseling would be beneficial to her? And my goodness, the irony in her wishes that others "find peace in 2015" is heart wrenching. Yes, counseling OP.
