Four things: 1. OP, I am tremendously, tremendously sorry for what you and your son are going through. My sympathy extends to all those who have posted about their own struggles with similar situations. 2. PP, unless I am missing something, there is no indication that OP is a man.....There is only the indication that the poster is married to a woman with whom s/he has a 9 year old son. FWIW, OP's post in Website Feedback (in which s/he shares that s/he is also the poster of a situation with a nephew mired in a situation with pedophilia) has a similar writing voice -- and I have read that thread to suggest that OP is a woman. 3. OP, this is NOT your fault, but I would urge you to ensure that any prescription medications are kept locked or that you discard them. You refer to having over 90 CII pills at home because you no longer need them. A suicidal person needs to be in a situation free of drugs of all sorts. Again, this is not your fault and no one should theoretically have to re-script their life because of someone else, but access to substances (for someone who's attempted suicide) has to be really, really controlled. 4. In both threads you've shared, OP, you indicate that there's profound negligence on the part of authority figures (originally the police in the case of your nephew, the hospital and the pharmacy in the current post). Is there *any* authority (medical, legal, etc.) who has been helpful to you and your family recently? I am asking this, in all seriousness, because you need to be able to trust someone who has some level of external power. Your current and recent experiences suggest that there are no such figures for you. I wish you luck. You have experienced two horrendous situations and you deserve a tremendous amount of support, as does your son and, in your other post, your nieces.
