You must not know much about Kinsey's research and the controversy surrounding it. Do scientists normally have sex with their subjects? He was a zoologist-he is a world expert in gall wasps. This study is from 1948. Women's attitudes towards sex and sexual enjoyment have dramatically changed since 1948.[/quote]

Kinsey looks accurate to me.  DH here, two kids in 3, 7. Sex a few times a month, somewhere between 2-6, so we are "average" although it sucks.  My informal poll of my married male friends put them in the same camp - sex once a week or less, not terribly happy about it. [b] I do know a few men whose wives regained their libido in their early 40s when the kids got older, and I suspect those are the ones who are writing in here in the 3-4 times per week camp[/b]. Actually this is a real hormonal shift women go through in their 40s. I have enough friends who are 45, who are like cats in heat. Completely normal. My one friend has mentioned that her DH cannot keep up and she'd do it daily if he could.
