Who says it would be sexless?  If you stay married to keep your family in the same house it doesn't preclude either party from dating.  Straight couples do this.  Not sure why you think gay men care less about breaking up families than straight men.  You may not be having sex with each other but that doesn't mean you aren't having sex at all. People do live like this and they aren't unhappy or putting on a sham marriage.[/quote]
