I say I am very sceptical when people claim their 1st grader is being hurt by curriculum 2.0 and someone comes on saying "well test scores have declined" and I say "they don't take tests" and someone says "they take MAP" and I say "well do you have any evidence that MAP scores have declined" and you say "the burden is on MCPS to give that evidence." If you (collectively anti-C2.0 posters) are going to claim that C.20 is a disaster for 1st graders then it sure as hell is [b]your[/b] burden to back that up. Personally, fwiw, I am on the fence about it.[/quote]
