If you are aware of the relationship between obesity and poverty, then you are presumably also aware that it is possible to have insufficient or inadequate food, some or all of the time, without being actually starving.

And you are also probably aware that in American English, people commonly use the word "starving" to mean very hungry.[/quote]

Because you go to their houses, all of them, and you watch the parents budget or not budget, eek out a living or not. Instead of sitting back in smug judgement, why don't you volunteer to help less educated and/or poor folk learn how to budget and shop withing a budget. Try extending a little more mercy, compassion and kindness. Try realizing that you do not have all the facts or know the hearts and minds of  all of the parents. Try realizing there are areas of life in which you fall short, WAYYYY SHORT. Hope no one is judging you like u are judging these folks. Thank God for Jesus.[/quote]
