I see these posts are two years old. This just started happening to me this year. I wear mostly side zip skirts and rarely do anything in the kitchen these days! I still had holes in my tee tummies (and "best" j jill jersey shirts) when I began wearing them this spring - I have met three other women in the last three days who have this experience -all different ages and occupations - we are all mystified but I am leaning to the moth theory.
Definitely not moths. At least for me, the holes were in the same place on all my shirts and nowhere else. Moths are not that consistent! For me, I think it had something to do with the shirt rubbing on the relatively pointed edge of my pants near the zipper. I started wearing tank tops under my t shirts -- pulled down over the top of my pants, not tucked in -- and the problem disappeared. In winter, I wear any type of tank. They're actually helpful for staying warm. In spring/summer, I try to wear the lightest ones I can find. At the moment, my favorite are the Jockey camisoles at Target. Super light weight and they stop the holes! http://www.target.com/p/jky-by-jockey-women-s-nylon-stretch-cami-asssorted-colors-patterns/-/A-14471144
