Forest City will redevelop Ballston Commons into an upscale destination with [b]trend-setting hotels, office towers,[/b] and new high-end retail. The plans were all the buzz a few months ago. And Ballston's got the best indoor ice rinks in the area. The Mosaic is not trendier in my book. It's newer and has trendy stores and an art house movie theater for all the beatniks, but it will never be as vibrant as Ballston, because Mosaic will always be a drive-to neighborhood. The Mosaic should've been developed closer to Metro where the Halstead neighborhood is. [/quote]
