I think the point that most people spend their own money more carefully than that of "other people's" money is relevant and not "stupid, stupid, stupid."   I'm not sure what you mean by your phrase "one of those people" but if it means qualifying for a tax credit greater than the amount of taxes owed, then yes, I have been "one of those people."  Does that make my opinion more valid now?   Honestly, I'm surprised to hear you complain about other posters being "insulting."  If anything, I feel that your post was pretty insulting to me and anyone else with a similar viewpoint.[/quote]
